The Fayetteville Farmers’ Market operated by Rural Mountain Producers Exchange, is proud to announce 2 new market locations for 2010. The downtown square market opens April 4th and runs until Nov 21st.

Fayetteville Square – open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 7am – 1pm

Botanical Gardens -open Sundays 7am – 1pm

Farmington Farmers Market… TBA

It is an open-air market, and come rain or shine the vendors will be there with fresh picked fruits, vegetables, herbs and plenty of flowers. The Mill District Market is open THURSDAYS 4pm – 7pm starting April 9th until October 29th. The Mill District Market is located on the corner of 6th Street and S. School (Bus. Hwy. 71) in Fayetteville.

Everything at the market MUST be grown or made by the vendors. While strolling through, you are able to visit with the local farmers and artisans and ask questions. There are lots of plants (herbs, house plants, aquatic plants, perennials and bedding plants) available with experts on hand offering advice. There is lamb, beef, chicken, pork, honey, and eggs available. Unique handmade items include Baskets, Pottery, Candles, Quilts, Watercolors, Woven Rugs, Birdhouses, Toys, Dolls, one-of-a-kind Knit Hats, decorative items and Face Painting.
